There is an American saying that reads: “Heaven is a mixture of American salary, Ukrainian wife, English house and Chinese food.” It’s not a big deal for an American to earn decent salary, own an English house or have dinners at Chinese restaurants. But that wife part requires some roaming around the globe.
Researchers at London School of Economics came out with an amazing conclusion. They state that with every year passing there are more and more beautiful women on the planet, while the amount of handsome men decreases. According to researchers’ theory, beauty is not equally inherited by boys and girls; girls tend to inherit beauty to greater extent. Given this reason, we can understand why foreigners are so attracted to Ukrainian ladies.
When we put a question “What is your first association with Ukraine?”, 45% of all answers were “The beauty of Ukrainian women”. Vodka, lard, Klitschko brothers, or government deputies don’t manage to be the commonly recognized trademark of Ukraine. Only women’s beauty does.
Ukrainian women value family much
Western men generally dislike emancipated ladies and perceive feminism as some sort of deviation. Although shores of Ukraine didn’t evade a hit by the wave of feminism, it never stood the chance to prevail because of strong traditions preserved in Ukrainians’ souls. Any lady in Ukraine, let her even be strongly affected by feministic theses, can never become “a lad in a skirt”. In her heart she will remain the protector of family and home no matter what. Ukrainian lady’s first priority is to make sure her children are fed and comfortable, and she doesn’t care much about gender diversity. Aside from other peculiarities, this indifferent attitude to feministic values is believed by sociologists to be one of the main reasons of consistent demand for Ukrainian brides.
Besides, Ukrainian women are always guided by common sense rather than some artificial norms and traditions. Say, many families from Western Europe and America practice scheduled sexual relationships. This phenomenon is quite similar to marriage contract with the only difference that negotiated terms include not the amount of compensation in case of divorce, but the regularity of sexual intercourses. This is probably the way Western women are fighting against their complex of femininity. “I said: Monday, Wednesday, Friday – and that’s it. You receive what we’ve negotiated and back off.” Conversely, if a Ukrainian lady receives tender treatment, she never ignores it and gives love in return.
